Room for a good thought

Sometimes you do not need a grand story, just a manageable task that gives your mind something pleasant to do. A grid, a few numbers or a row of unfamiliar symbols can be enough to spark curiosity. Imagine-Right wants to make room for those moments. The games invite you to look closely, discover connections and make your own decisions. You decide when to begin, how long to think and when to take a break. Completing a puzzle is a satisfying finish; a new idea along the way is just as valuable.

Our selection brings together different ways of solving puzzles. Some call for spatial imagination, others for planning a route or recognising patterns in language. They share the idea that a few understandable rules can lead to many interesting decisions. You need no special equipment and nothing to install: the games run in your browser. You can play on a computer or open a puzzle on a mobile device while you are out. What matters to us is engaging with the task, from the first attempt to the last step that fits.

Numbers, rectangles and paths

In SUMTILO you divide a number grid into rectangles. Each rectangle contains exactly one given number, and that number equals the sum of its width and height. The rectangles must cover the entire grid without overlapping. This simple rule creates an interplay between numbers and shapes. You consider possible dimensions, use the edges of the board and gradually narrow down the remaining possibilities. Often, identifying one small rectangle with certainty opens up a part of the grid that seemed confusing at first.

WORMTRAIL NUMBERS gives you a different spatial task. You guide a worm along one continuous path through the entire grid. Every cell is visited exactly once, and given numbers must be reached at the correct position in the sequence of steps. Moves are horizontal or vertical. Thinking ahead matters: which connection leaves enough room for the rest of the route? Where might an empty cell become unreachable? The finished result is an unbroken trail connecting all the individual clues.

Language as a puzzle

Kryptogramm combines decoding hidden words with discovering a shared theme. Symbols represent letters, and identical symbols always mean the same letter within a puzzle. You enter guesses and watch how the words change. Repeated symbols, common letter sequences and words you have already recognised provide further clues. The theme helps narrow down possible words. In turn, finding words makes it easier to understand what connects them. A feel for language and logical deduction work together in this way.

The different games are intended to offer different ways in. Perhaps thinking in shapes suits you, perhaps you quickly recognise the start of a word, or perhaps you immediately picture a possible path. Different difficulty levels give you the chance to learn the rules and later try more demanding tasks. An unsuccessful attempt belongs to the process: checking an idea and then changing it is part of playing. There is no reason to get every step right straight away. What matters is that the task remains understandable and you find your own way to the solution.

One website, several languages

Imagine-Right is available in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian. The accompanying texts convey the same content everywhere, translated into the respective language. Game descriptions, guidance and information about the project should therefore mean the same thing whichever language you choose. The language selector stays within easy reach. When you change language, you remain on the corresponding page. In word puzzles, the words of each language naturally form part of the experience; the underlying idea of the game stays the same.

A clear interface supports puzzle solving. On the home page you can discover the games, expand their descriptions and open the one that interests you. The relevant rules and help are available while you play. The website should suit a short break as well as a longer session with a tricky challenge. We make no promises about learning outcomes or health benefits. Imagine-Right is a collection of games: it aims to awaken curiosity and give you an opportunity to concentrate on an interesting task.

Privacy in everyday use

You do not need an account to play. The website includes no advertising, analytics trackers or external fonts, and the application sets no cookies. Personal registration and public profiles are not provided. If you want to keep longer-term statistics and supported game saves, you can enable local storage for all games together. These data remain in the browser on your device. Your chosen language is also saved permanently only if you have enabled local storage for all games.

Privacy also means explaining technical processes clearly. Your browser sends requests to the server so that pages and puzzles can be delivered and game actions checked. The application uses a protection key derived from the IP address to limit excessive requests. Server access logs are disabled. Local statistics and technical processing on the server are therefore different things. Our privacy statement explains these areas in more detail. You can turn optional storage off again; doing so removes the statistics and game saves stored for all games.

Funding through voluntary donations

Even a small games project has ongoing costs: hosting, technical maintenance, new puzzles and careful translations. Imagine-Right is funded through voluntary donations on Ko-fi.

A donation is not a requirement for playing and affects neither the correct solutions nor your choice of challenge – it supports the offering as a whole.
